Statement of Faith

We believe in the bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God.

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His soon return.

We believe that all people are sinful and therefore spiritually lost.  Salvation comes by genuine repentance of sin and living faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and the lost unto everlasting destruction.  

  

Men's Ministry

The men of the First Advent Christian Chruch of Hickory meet monthly for breakfast and ministry.  Our ministry is through good works for those in need.  If you have a small project around the house or know of someone who needs handyman assistance please contact the church.  Next Meeting will be August 22nd, 2009.
