A Word from the Pastor
As I write this I can’t help but be amazed by the fact that you might be one of a great number to read it from anywhere in the world. What can I say to such a vast and diverse audience?
There is really only one thing to say. Nothing is more important than the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God loves you, whoever and wherever you are. God has a wonderful plan for your life. And, Jesus Christ is the door to all the goodness that God has for you. As the scripture says, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” Acts 4:12 NIV. It is my prayer that you have a personal relationship with this Jesus.
Of course, I hope that many of you who read this are not far away at all. If you live in or near Hickory, NC I want to invite you to come and worship with us. Our church is small and friendly. Our message is Bible-centered. To be Christ-like is our goal. First Advent Christian Church is a place where you can grow in your relationship with Christ. I would love to see or hear from you.
